I notice lately that NASA, and to some extent the conservative astronomical community as a whole, are simultaneously giving us conflicting messages:
“Doom comes from forces beyond our control!”
and
“There’s ice on Mars!”
Asteroid impacts taking us from the Cretaceous Era to the Paleogene!
Supernovae effects taking us from the Pliocene Epoch to the Ice Age!
Just yesterday I saw a headline about a whole Galaxy heading our way that we Just Found Out About, and that is the Only One heading our way in literally the Entire Known Universe. What’s up with that?
“Doom comes from forces beyond our control! Not from man-made Climate Change. Hey, you know what? Let’s go back to the moon!”
Ancient Supernovae Prompted Human Ancestors to Walk Upright
Kind of like religion, eh?
(Note: This is my first time “embed”-ing. Do I have to provide attribution, or is the embed attribution enough?)
Love the picture. Like somebody got out in space with a GoPro at the perfect time.
“Look outward for your failings!” right? The world is ending and it’s not our fault!
